Terminally unemployed, dating challenged Rebecca (Marin Ireland) thinks she's scored her big break on Broadway by landing a job with the infamous Ian (Richard Kind). Instead of a dream job, Rebecca finds herself scrubbing floors while listening to vapid starlet Simone (Kelli Giddish) complain about her perfect life. Fed up, one day she "accidentally" shoves Simone over a balcony - suddenly a star is born. Rebecca moves from Understudy to Star! Everything is perfect until an even bigger Diva is brought in, The Great Greta (Gloria Reuben). What to do?
