An urban pulp noir, Smokers tells the story of five New Yorkers; Aaron who has just arrived in the big apple from Wichita, Kansas, and is looking to score a big bag of weed. His travels lead him to Indo, a small time dealer in Tompkins Square Park. Aaron smokes his bag and his journey to score another from Indo begins the journey that is Smokers. Aaron comes in contact with Bill, and through him he meets Carlos, a mid level dealer who is supplied by Paula in the Bronx. Each character’s story weaves into the other, ending in a heart stopping robbery where the fate of all unexpectedly merge, in a climactic ending that will leave no one out of harms way.
