Christopher Lee made one of his final appearances on the big screen as Count Dracula in The Satanic Rites of Dracula. In this film, Count Dracula is the front man of a satanic cult that uses a research establishment and business firms a cover in 1970s London. The Count and his followers plan to release a deadly strain of the bubonic plague into the unsuspecting city streets, which will nearly destroy the entire human race. The malevolent Count is thwarted, however, by the dutiful Dr. Van Helsing (Peter Cushing) and Inspector Murray (Michael Coles).
