Mind Cage

Mony, a traditional Healer in a rural Cambodian village, exploits the deeply rooted stigma of mental health with his harsh treatment methods, which include locking patients inside cages for days on end. When a visiting psychiatrist from the city of Phnom Penh cures an epileptic with modern medicine, Mony is humiliated and locked up by the villagers inside his own cage as punishment. Soon, Mony escapes in a violent rampage and heads to the city where he begins planning a cruel and violent fate for the doctor and his family.
