This seasons festivities kick off as San Francisco Police Commissioner Stewart "Mac" McMillan (Rock Hudson) and his whip-smart wife Sally (Susan Saint James) journey to Scotland for a family reunion that soon turns into a "whodunit?" when the murdered body of Macs uncle is discovered. Once back in San Francisco, the McMillans come to the rescue of their housekeeper, Mildred (Nancy Walker), whos become the target of a satanic cult. The murder strikes Macs past as old friends from his CIA days and his college football team are eliminated. To top off the third season, Rock Hudson plays a dual role of Mac and a look-alike mobster in order to intercept the arrival of a stolen transcontinental gold shipment.

As an original resident of the long-running NBC Mystery Movie stable, this series mixture of suspenseful drama and romantic comedy became an instant hit with viewers and critics alike. And now this collectors edition features Season Threes four 90 minute and its pair of two hour episodes digitally mastered and unedited for the first time ever on DVD!
