AFRICAN SAVANNAH: Every year, roughly 40 U.S. citizens are killed by wild animals while on safari in Africa. Bear demonstrates ways to prevent these attacks, and also how to find water, build shelter and use natural medicines to survive the untamed bush.

ECUADOR: Within its borders, Ecuador has part of the Andes Mountains, high-altitude cloud forests and a big portion of the Amazon rainforest. But as extreme and dangerous as these environments are, Bear looks forward to the challenge of surviving them.

SIBERIA: Bear Grylls parachutes into the Siberian tundra, one of the harshest places on Earth, where he must survive a week of extreme challenges. Not just frigid temperatures and dense, dark forests, but swimming underneath the ice in minus 40 degrees.

TURKEY: On Turkeys rugged Anatolian Plateau, Bear battles white water rapids and confronts a 120-foot waterfall. Once on the steppes, its a different story hot and dry, with no food and little sign of life.
