The military coup in Poland waged by General Jozef Pilsudski is the subject of this epic drama from director and star Ryszard Filipski. Though Pilsudski was integral to Poland regaining independence in 1918, his controversial coup in 1926, his subsequent dictatorship, and the show trials of political opponents in the 1930s severely complicate his legacy.
