Black Cat

The Showtime series turns to the original master of horror for inspiration in this chilling tale. Jeffrey Combs (RE-ANIMATOR) stars as Edgar Allan Poe, a writer tortured by debt, drink, and his dying wife. But what is most haunting to the writer is his bride’s creepy cat, an animal that’s seemingly possessed by evil. Thanks to the cat’s behavior, Poe’s own actions become increasingly deranged while he is inspired to write one of his greatest stories.
