Apache Rifles / Panhandle

Apache Rifles (1964) Audie Murphy stars in this exciting, revisionist western as Jeff Stanton, a commander of an Arizona army outpost who despises Native Americans. Stanton's feelings change radically when he falls in love with a half-Indian missionary (Linda Lawson), then must stop greedy miners out to start a war with the Apaches. Michael Dante, L.Q. With a script co-written by Blake Edwards, who also co-stars with Anne Gwynne, Reed Hadley, Cathy Downs.
